The policy

A factual error gets fixed on the page, and the page carries a dated correction note saying what was wrong and what it now says. We do not quietly edit a claim out of existence, and we do not date a correction to the day of the original piece.

Clarifications — where nothing was false but the wording misled — are noted the same way and labelled as clarifications, not corrections.

How to reach an editor

Write to the editor at corrections@texasmuslim.org. Tell us the page, the sentence, and what the correct information is. Where you can point to a document, a dataset or a person who can confirm it, say so — that is usually the difference between a fix that takes a day and one that takes a month.

This address is monitored by Omar Afra, the founder and editor. There is no contact form on this site; a form that quietly goes nowhere is worse than an email address that works.

Correction log

No corrections have been issued. This publication is new and has published a small number of pages; an empty log here is a statement of fact, not a claim about our accuracy. As corrections are issued they will be listed on this page with their dates, and linked from the pages they affect.

Beyond corrections

If your concern is not a factual error but the framing of a piece, or something we have left out, write anyway. Our sourcing rules are set out in editorial standards, and it is fair to hold us to them.
