About this program
Fadel’s next announced grant period runs from July 2027 through June 2028. Its application page, updated August 12, 2026, expects forms in February 2027 and describes a mid-May deadline as likely rather than fixed. Eligibility is limited to non-incarcerated Muslim U.S. citizens and permanent residents. The foundation sends awards to the educational institution for one academic year and allows recipients to apply again, within its lifetime award limit.
The 2026–27 official flyer advertised a maximum of $3,500; a new-cycle maximum should be verified when forms appear. Use the forthcoming application as the document checklist. The older FAQ can provide background, but its 2014 date makes it unsuitable for silently imposing current essay, recommendation, or submission requirements.
Source note
Provider’s August 12, 2026 update calls the mid-May 2027 deadline likely, not final. Awards go to the institution for one academic year; reapplication is encouraged, subject to a lifetime award limit. The FAQ is dated March 22, 2014 and must not set new-cycle requirements. Current sources specify postsecondary education but do not state exact degree levels; confirm the next-cycle program requirements.
