- Ismaili students accepted to a university PhD programme, with an excellent academic record including a master's degree, research aligned with IIS interests and relevant language competence. The official page permits all nationalities and states no age limit.

Source note
Recipient may be required to provide30 days' work per year to IIS. IIS holds first publication rights to dissertation-derived content. Funding usually supports UK institutions; the provider may consider other prestigious universities. Existing STEP graduates must finish their teaching contract first.
