About this program

This scholarship connects college access with service by mosque-based religious leaders. The provider’s eligibility page focuses on sons and daughters, while a separate note allows imams themselves and previous recipients to apply with lower priority. Applicants in those categories should ask the administrator how the rule applies to them. The page still says applications are being accepted for 2026–27, but its March 31, 2026 deadline has passed and a separate 2026 recipient page has been published. That dated evidence supports a closed-cycle label. No 2027 application date should be inferred. The university location restriction does not confine recipients to Shenandoah University; accepted students at accredited four-year US universities meet the published institutional criterion.
