How many Islamic schools are there in Texas?
There is no single statewide religious-school census, so this registry is a verified starting point rather than a final count.

Texas does not maintain a single statewide census organized by a private school’s religious identity. Counts depend on what is included: full-time schools, Hifz academies and weekend programs are not interchangeable categories.
What this registry counts
The Texas Muslim schools registry includes first-party-verified Islamic schools. Weekend programs are not included unless they are explicitly identified as a separate category.
Why the number is incomplete
ISGH’s 2024 annual report alone lists five full-time Islamic schools plus a Hifz academy in its network. The seven seeded records here are therefore explicitly incomplete and should not be presented as a statewide total. [1]
