Directory
Islamic associations
Organisations that operate mosques, centers and programs in Texas. An association is not the same thing as a building: where one body runs several locations, the locations are listed separately and linked from the association's page.

Houston · Association
Islamic Society of Greater Houston
Also known as ISGH
An umbrella body that operates a network of Islamic centers across the Houston area and describes religious, educational and social services on its own site. Its About page gives 1969 as the year it was established. Different pages of the site give different centre totals, so no total is stated here until the operator's own figures agree.
Richardson · Association
Islamic Association of North Texas
Also known as IANT
A North Texas association based on Abrams Road in Richardson. Its own site describes worship, outreach including visitor tours, a clinic and educational programs, and its contact page refers to the main building as the IANT Masjid.
El Paso · Association
Islamic Center of El Paso
Also known as ICEP
El Paso's Islamic center, which dates its own beginnings to a rented house downtown in the 1980s and describes moving to its Paragon Lane building in 2004. Educational programs share the Paragon Lane address; they are programs at this center, not separate mosques.
McAllen · Association
Islamic Society of South Texas
Also known as ISST, ISST McAllen
A McAllen association whose own pages describe a mosque with a multipurpose hall and youth activities, and name the prayer space Masjid Umar Al-Farooq. It is a separate body from the similarly named organization in Corpus Christi.
Edinburg · Association
Alkhair Islamic Society of RGV
Also known as Alkhair Islamic Society of the Rio Grande Valley
An Edinburg association that states on its operator-hosted page that it was established in 2005. A surviving 2018 event calendar records Ramadan potlucks, Qur'an classes and sports; it is a historical record, not a current schedule.
