Muslim Voices: an oral-history finding guide
Five interview records held by Texas Storyscapes, with short finding notes and links to the original entries.

The Muslim Voices collection records lives that a building directory cannot capture: schooling, migration, creative work, language and the formation of communities. The Institute for Diversity and Civic Life described the project’s beginnings in a spring 2019 collaboration with the University of Texas at Austin’s Department of Religious Studies, and its April 2021 account introduced the growing oral-history archive.
The five interview records below are presented by Texas Storyscapes. Each note preserves the repository’s current public narrator name, interviewer, interview date and original link. Texas Muslim wrote these short finding notes from the catalogue descriptions; the interviews and transcripts remain with the holding archive, under its own terms for using the archive. Read them as individual retrospective accounts, not as a representative survey or a current directory of the narrators’ lives.
