UT Arlington Muslim prayer rooms: follow the latest MSA notice
The MSA’s published update describes a move from CAPPA South B and several spring 2026 alternatives. Verify the room before going.

An old campus prayer-room listing can send a student to a building that is no longer being used. The Muslim Students Association at UT Arlington publishes a change notice about its former CAPPA South B space and lists alternatives for spring 2026. That notice is the student organization’s account and remains a useful contact lead; it is not a university facilities guarantee for every later semester. [1]
What the MSA currently publishes
The MSA’s prayer page identifies Swift Center Room 125 at 1022 UTA Boulevard as the primary Jumu’ah location. It also lists a reflection space in the library basement hallway and a fourth-floor reflection room in SWSH. The page gives Friday Jumu’ah at 2 p.m. and says the organization is seeking a more centrally located permanent space with the Intercultural Student Engagement Center. Confirm the time, room and access with the MSA before attending. [1]
Its dated December 12, 2025 statement describes planned demolition affecting the former CAPPA South B location, followed by spring 2026 alternatives. Keep those dates visible. The statement does not establish that a permanent replacement has opened by October 2026, and this guide does not claim to have visited the rooms. [1]
Separate a current lead from a historical event
UTA’s official calendar documents an APIDA Month iftar organized with the Muslim Student Association. That historical listing helps document campus activity; it is not the schedule for a current Ramadan. A past event should stay past even when its page remains online. [2]
Students can use the MSA’s contact routes to ask about upcoming activities and the room used this semester. Ask whether the location is available for daily prayer, Friday prayer or both, and whether a university ID or a particular building entrance is needed. These are useful questions, not additional access conditions asserted by this guide.
Follow changes without duplicating them
For a room move, record the source date, the previous location, the published replacement and anything still unresolved. If a new notice appears, the same guide can be updated rather than creating another page for a slightly different spelling of “UTA Muslim prayer room.” That keeps readers pointed to one place.
The photograph here shows a CAPPA building exterior in an earlier campus view. It does not depict a prayer-room interior or establish the condition of the former South B space.
For other universities, use the campus index. The college holy-day guide addresses examinations and academic absences, which have a separate process from reserving a reflection room.

Paying for college
For a separate funding question, UTA directs admitted students to Mav ScholarShop and distinguishes incoming merit awards from departmental opportunities. Its main page publishes deadlines tied to specific 2027 entry terms; check the exact scholarship and term before applying. This funding link does not change the prayer-space guide’s institutional scope.
